We had an excellent time! William, our head guide, was amazing!! The porters were extremely helpful. Every time you turned around they were there to help you with the pack, tent or warm water.

I felt safe and cared for. Thank you for the great adventure!  I will recommend Thomson to anyone due to the team’s professionalism, customer service and concern for our safety.

I wanted to write and tell you what an awesome trip I had! I didn’t want to come home. I enjoyed the safari but the trek was my favorite part. All of my guides (Bernard, James, David and Alphayo) were great!

The first camp we all did yoga even the porters, Adam and Innocent (our waiters) joined in. They were so much fun to be around. Bernard was always around to have a good conversation with while we were hiking. I was confident of his experience and trusted his expertise. Whenever anyone was tired, all they had to do was look for Alphayo and he would immediately cheer them up with his infectious smile and a good fact about the mountain or wildlife. I could really tell that he likes his job!

James was by my side and looked after me like I was his sister. Abu (my porter) was on my other side the whole time. I didn’t feel unsafe at any time. I would do another trek in a heartbeat if I could find someone crazy enough to go back with me! I had so much fun with all the Thomson staff and will recommend the Umbwe route to anyone who wants to do a trek, the privacy we had on the first day and a half were great!

We had a wonderful time in Tanzania from start to finish. The trek was awesome and so was the safari. Hard to say what we enjoyed most!  Our family really loved both parts of the trip even though they were so different.

Your guides there are fantastic – they really made the trip for us. Our 3 guides, waiters, and porters always had smiles for us and nothing but positive, encouraging words each day – I truly cannot say enough good things about those men.

Our safari guides were great too. We managed to see all of the “Big Five”; we spent nearly an hour watching the elusive leopard as she made her way through the grass and trees looking for a meal – the kids thought it was great.

The food on the mountain and on safari was fabulous.  In fact my kids asked why my food at home didn’t taste that good! I think we ate them out of house and home on safari; teenagers can eat a lot.

This hike was an exceptional experience for our family.  We learned a lot about ourselves, each other and Tanzania. I am not sure we are ready to head back up the mountain yet, but I am quite certain another trip to Tanzania will be in our future – there are lots of places left to see and experience!

We had a thoroughly delightful Kilimanjaro climb and safari – it was clear that Thomson Safaris was the right choice for us. All aspects of the trip up Kilimanjaro were excellent – great guides, food and camping arrangements.

We saw many climbers from other tour operators who did not make it to the summit due to mountain sickness, but all of us made the climb/summit in good shape, and even enjoyed our stay at Crater Camp. I would definitely recommend the 9-day Western Approach and Crater Camp. There were no negatives for our group (ages 50-67).

Finally, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari was excellent! We all loved the Nyumbas and would not have changed a thing.  It was great journey with magnificent scenery.

The camaraderie with the staff was excellent and the achievement of summiting Uhuru will never be forgotten.

It was an amazing trip and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from beginning to end. The climb up Kilimanjaro was amazing and difficult and by far one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had. I did not realize how unbelievable it was going to be and I’m so happy that we chose Thomson as our tour operator. We could tell you are the best. All of your people from the drivers to the guides and porters were simply amazing.

Ras Nungwi was an amazing place. Zanzibar was the perfect spot to relax after the climb. I’m glad we had the tour of Stone Town before we left. I thought that was a great addition to the trip.

All in all I couldn’t have been happier that we chose Thomson. Many thanks to everyone involved for making this such an amazing trip.

We had a fantastic experience and were continually grateful to have the Thomson Safari guides and porters leading the way. Wilfred was professional, attentive, knowledgeable and trustworthy, a calming presence to have managing all of the details. We were especially impressed by Liberate whose intuitive and sensitive nature was noticed by many on our trip. He was wise and thoughtful and a great support system for our group. Calvin was also a stellar resource and leader. He was always good for a joke – he has the best smile and laugh I think I’ve ever seen – but, also knew when to keep it serious.

The accommodations and food were also great. Our porters made us comfortable and always aimed to please. The staff did a good job ensuring my gluten-free diet was safe.  Thank you again for all of your support throughout this process. We were so happy to have Thomson as our outlet … our memories made in Tanzania will last a lifetime!

I’m very happy to have chosen Thomson Safaris for my Kilimanjaro trek. The extended Thomson team was exemplary. I’m very happy that I spent the extra money and went with the best provider available – choosing a cheaper operator would have meant failing on the climb. I researched many tour groups and options for climbing Kilimanjaro and decided that Thomson offered the best chance for success, even though the cost was significantly higher than the low budget tours. In retrospect, I realize that I would never have made it to the top with another group. I definitely made the right choice!

Thank you Thomson for the trip of a lifetime! You guys are great, and well-worth the extra investment. Everything on the trek was A++++. Food, water, porters, guides – everything.

The Kilimanjaro trek was the most awesome experience of my life – never to be forgotten and will be talked about for some time to come.

A little over 2 years ago, Kili wasn’t even on the agenda. Being in my mid-60s, I never thought it was doable but once the decision was made, I trained especially hard.  For me, the daily treks were not difficult, however summit day was a real challenge. But we made it and the experience was absolutely amazing, it was a great feeling of accomplishment!

The guides, porters, cooks and waiters were first rate; they encouraged us along the way and helped when necessary, it made the climb easier than anticipated.

On the Sunday after the December 14th shootings, I attended mass, as I do weekly. We were all upset about Newtown, and I mentioned this to my chaplain – how devastated and numb I felt, how I wish that there were something I could do.  Her response was to tell me to dedicate my trek to those children, and so I did. “Walk it for the children,” she said.

I also got Tibetan Buddhist prayer flags and wrote the names of each of the children on the flags and planned to let them fly when I reached the “Roof of Africa”.  It was very meaningful, especially being able to do something with purpose in the face of a tragedy. I often thought of those children as I climbed.

Unfortunately, on the last day of the trek, just 2000 vertical feet from the summit, altitude sickness forced me to turn back. I was very disappointed, of course. But I handed the flags to a father and son in my trekking group from Dothan, Alabama. They reached the top, unfurled the flags and the tribute was seen to its fruition.

In addition to the mountain staff being so supportive, taking care of me and encouraging me the whole way; what really kept me going was the promise I made to dedicate my trek to 20 helpless, little children who would never again know the feeling of climbing, walking, and running. I had a different purpose than just crossing something off my bucket list.  I am glad the flags flew at the summit and we were able to pay tribute to and remember the victims.

Thomson Safaris was the official tour operator for WaterCan’s inaugural Kilimanjaro climb, which saw 22 adventurous Canadians summit Mt. Kilimanjaro to bring vital attention to the global water and sanitation crisis. We were greatly impressed by the quality of the experience that Thomson Safaris offered our climbing team – the guides were well-informed, personable and professional; the meals and accommodations exceptional; and, day-to-day logistics expertly executed. We thank the Thomson Safaris team, in both the US and Tanzania, for helping to make our fundraising climb a first-class and memorable adventure for all.

Where to start? The trip was absolutely AMAZING! With the real highlight being the Kilimanjaro trek. I can’t say enough about the experience…and the experience was all about the staff.

Our guides, waiters, cooks, porters, camp manager, really everyone that we were in contact with were just perfect. Super smiling, friendly, singing, dancing, joyful-essentially these guys made the trip. I think Sunday must be the best guide on the mountain! Calvin and James, his assistant guides, are wonderful people.  In addition to Sunday, Godfrey – who was our waiter – became a true and heartfelt friend.

I can’t say enough about the safari portion of the trip as well. Our guide, Kileo, was AMAZING!  He found us the big 5!!!!  I could just move completely into Gibbs Farm, none of us wanted to leave!!!  I hope I’m lucky enough to spend some more time at Gibbs Farm in my lifetime.  At the Serengeti Nyumbas we were fed well and treated even better by Sufi and his colleagues.

Overall, I would absolutely recommend Thomson Safaris to anybody. The experience was more than I could have imagined from both the cultural and spiritual perspectives. Thanks for making this a trip of a lifetime, I am forever changed. To be honest, just thinking of the trip brings tears of joy to my eyes.

The most important reason that I chose Thomson Safaris for my Kilimanjaro trek was that everyone I spoke with, and everything I read about Thomson, indicated that Thomson Safaris was a first-class organization. Based upon my experience, I also agree with that assessment. Everyone, on both the Kili climb and safari, was so friendly; the food was incredible; the attention to detail was amazing; and the hospitality was humbling. Without exception, everyone, all of the guides, porters, cooks, waiters, campsite managers, were awesome.

However, I’d still like to single out three gentlemen for special commendation. First, Kileo, our guide for the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti was amazing. His knowledge of the animals and the area, coupled with his inexhaustible patience in answering all of our questions, made for a wonderful trip. We were as giddy as school kids on a field trip, and Kileo was professional, yet personable, funny, tolerant, and just a really sweet guy. Because of Kileo, the safari was truly a memorable experience.

Secondly, and on a more somber note, I cannot say enough complimentary things about Onestphory and Liberate, the Head Guide and Assistant Guide on my Kili climb. As you are aware, I had to turn around on the mountain due to altitude sickness (or, maybe a Diamox overdose???). Regardless as to the reason, Onest and Liberate provided me with such extraordinary care and compassion, patience and persistence, both on the second day of the climb (during which I was very sick) and on the third day during which I hiked out. Liberate accompanied me on that third day and he literally pulled me through sections when the terrain was too steep or rocky. I really cannot say enough about how wonderfully these two gentlemen cared for and treated me, and their concern for my safety. I felt extremely grateful and blessed that I was in their care. It was indeed an honor and a privilege to be in their company.

Despite getting sick, my trek was still a terrific and amazing experience. So, for all the reasons mentioned above, I wouldn’t think of choosing any other company to trek with as I plan for another climb on Kilimanjaro. Thank you, to everyone, for being such a wonderful company.

Umbwe was a beautiful route, it was peacefully private; I didn’t see any other groups climbing this route. It was a great choice for me, it gave me a chance to get away and reconnect with myself.  Though there were a few steep parts, the technical aspects were never a concern.

I always felt as though I was being taken care of better than any other group on the mountain. The Thomson guides were amazing and the equipment was superb. It made me proud to trek with a team and a crew wearing warm uniforms provided for them by Thomson.

We had a great experience with Thomson! We can’t say enough about how professional the porters were, how organized, how caring, what great cooks they were, and how willing they were to share local information about their culture, food and cooking.

As a dietitian, I was particularly interested in the food. They allowed me to go into the cooking tent one night and watch them prepare dinner. As I work in a kitchen every day, this was particularly special for me.

Brent and I felt the affects of the mountain pretty early in the trip, so our guides, Prosper, James and Calvin were always checking on us. We eventually made it to the summit, and Brent proposed there! Thanks to Prosper and James who took the extra time with us to make sure we got to the top!

Brent and I were married on March 10th! Kili & Thomson will always have a special place in our hearts.

The quality of the Thomson guides made this a most memorable trekking experience. Godlove, William and Wilfred went beyond the call of duty. They made it their mission to make sure that everyone was safe and enjoyed the trekking experience. Our well-being was their top priority.

We were checked for symptoms of altitude sickness and objective measures, such as heart rate and oxygen saturation, were recorded every evening. I felt reassured with the emergency medical equipment available during the trek.

Prosper and Godlove sang songs during the trek. Godlove took pictures and videos that are priceless; in particular when I was reading a letter from my 5 year old granddaughter at Uhuru peak.

Thomson exceeded my expectations  - especially the quality of their tents and the variety and quality of the food we ate. I should know. I am from New Orleans!

I have climbed Kili twice with Thomson.  All of the aspects of the climb with Thomson were excellent just as they had been on my first trip.  The most important part of climbing with Thomson was the part we never used: the emergency equipment and the training the staff has in case of an emergency. One guide carried emergency equipment all the way to the summit with us.  That is what made climbing with Thomson an easy choice for us.

I have worked with guides in many countries so I have a sound basis to state that Thomson’s guides are the best. I reiterate my special appreciation of the Kilimanjaro trek guides. They operate in a most difficult environment, yet were consistently upbeat, helpful and encouraging to all of the trekkers.

First and most importantly, they were always genuinely concerned for our health and well being, this was evidenced by their regular checks on us while on the trek. They kept careful track that our water consumption was sufficient.

Second, they were all friendly and easy to talk (or in my case, also sing) with. They always consulted the group to ask how we felt about the schedule. For example, should we start at a certain time; stop for lunch now or push on; how should we plan dinner in relation to the geophysics lecture, as well as many other examples.

Third, the evening briefing about the next day’s agenda was well done, full of information and set clear expectations. We always knew what to expect the next day especially concerning the clothing we needed to wear.

Fourth, the overall organization was outstanding. Having been in command before, I recognize the skills necessary to make all the arrangements come off flawlessly. Camp was always set-up and broken down as expected. Meals, snacks and tea were always on time.

Fifth, it is important to commend the kitchen staff for an outstanding job. How in the world the cook produced the meals he did – high on the mountain with the limited equipment available –  is amazing.

Sixth, overall organizational performance was magnificent. By this I mean being met initially at the airport to all the connections in between, including leaving at the airport. Vehicle drivers were all excellent. Our liaison in the US did a fine job supplying information and responding to inquiries.

Let me finish with a repetition of the outstanding job the guides did, without their superior performance all else would have been for naught.

Our group summited Kilimanjaro at 1PM on a Sunday after 10 days of trekking Thomson’s Grand Traverse route. What a fabulous adventure! Reaching Stella Peak and seeing in the distance the Uhuru Peak sign was the highlight – nothing was going to come between me and the Peak. Stella gave me an adrenaline boost and refueled my emotional ability to get to Uhuru.

It was a totally amazing experience!  Thanks for the help in coordinating and providing us with all the trip details and guidance. We feel so fortunate to have had this experience and know that we got our money’s worth by choosing Thomson.

Talking with the staff and learning a little Swahili was a real trip highlight.  I was blown away by the kindness and diligence exhibited by each of the guides, waiters, and porters on our journey to the top of the mountain.  Besides a safe summit, it was obvious during the hike that customer service is Thomson’s number one goal.

At first we were all surprised by the amount of support crew (38) traveling for just our group of eight climbers.  Then, after seeing just how much went into setting up camp and getting us to each site, it was obvious that this was an immensely coordinated production.  With that much support and comfort there was no question that we were getting to the top!

It was a real surprise to see so much wildlife at Ndarakwai Camp [before the trek].  What they’ve done and are currently doing there is awesome. We were especially impressed with our walking guide who wouldn’t give up until we had seen some elephants up close.

We had such an amazing vacation and feel so satisfied to have made it to the top!  Thanks so much again for your help and for the great experience that Tanzania and Thomson provided!

It really was a once in a lifetime experience and I am so glad I did it and even happier I did it with Thomson.  Our guides, porters and the whole Thomson staff made this trip amazing!

There was not one moment where I felt nervous, unsafe or unsure that our whole group would make it to the top.  I really do attribute our successful summit to the amazing guides we had.  They were so attentive to us and were constantly motivating us on our hike.  The guides, porters, cooks and waiters were always so upbeat and friendly that even when some of us felt extremely sick and tired we stayed in good spirits throughout the trip.

The sky at night in Africa is like nothing we see in the US.  All those millions and millions of stars is just breathtaking. The Milky Way forms a beautiful swathe through the heavens and one could spend the entire night just watching the stars go by.  Ken, being from New York City, had never seen anything like this before and was quite excited when he saw his first satellite tonight.

It was such a life changing journey that it’s hard to articulate the impact it has had, and will have, on my life. I know I speak for our entire group when I say that Thomson exceeded our expectations in every way. From start to finish, the entire journey was outstanding. The most memorable part of the journey was our guides and porters.  They were so giving of their time, energy, knowledge and took care of us every step of the way. They got us to the top!

I love Tanzania and the philosophy behind Thomson so much I wish I could go back and be a part of the Thomson team.

The gear, single tent, and food were so beyond what I imagined. I realize that I was extremely fortunate to have climbed Kili with Thomson Safaris and that this is not the typical experience on the mountain.

Humanitarian, Dr. Greg Allgood, traveled with Thomson Safaris on MTV’s Summit on the Summit Kilimanjaro trek. Dr. Allgood travels around the world distributing PUR packets, which turns dirty water into clean, drinkable water, helping to prevent illness and save lives every day. Thus far, he and his partners have delivered more than three billion liters of clean drinking water for children and their families in more than 60 developing nations.

I realized I never personally wrote to thank you for the amazing experience I had during our trip to Tanzania last winter. Not only did we accomplish our goal of reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro with the entire team including our two challenged athletes, Erica Davis and Tara Butcher, but we were looked after like kings and queens by Thomson Safaris staff. Every part of our trip was so well-planned that we hardly noticed we were traveling with two wheelchairs and about twice as much luggage as everyone else!

Special acclaim must go to our porters and guides for our trek up the mountain. Their unflagging energy, enthusiasm and support for what I am sure looked to them like a very strange endeavor was amazing. Without them we would not have made it to the top and back down again in one piece. I know that Derek Gates as thanked you, but I felt another thank you would not be out of place.

Once again, thank you for your support of the Through the Roof trip and documentary. I hope that I will be able to return to Africa with Thomson Safaris – probably without the wheelchairs and film crews – in the future for another amazing experience!

The program was well suited for one such as me who is not big on working out in the gym. The home version gave me the level of fitness I needed to climb the mountain. I never had to worry if my muscles would work for me…just focused on breathing!”

I’ll add that I described the Fit For Trips program to the group at the beginning of the climb.  One of the members of the group said, “you trained for this?”  Although she was very fit, she wished she had done the “right kind” of training because her legs were screaming by the end of the trip. She has since taken a keen interest in the Fit For Trips program.

Kilimanjaro Climb:
I can honestly say that I am very happy that we chose to do this project with Thomson. From the first phone call through all the details and logistics involved your team was a genuine pleasure to work with. My primary contacts, Michael and Katie were knowledgeable, and very professional, always prompt in returning calls and answering questions. They were truly excellent to work with. I know our project was a bit of a challenge, but it all ran exceptional smoothly with their help and guidance.

The guides were excellent, and the food was the best I have ever had under such difficult field conditions. We (amazingly) managed to put all 24 team members on the summit! Our research project was quite a success, and the Thomson staff was very accommodating throughout the project.

Safari:
In my opinion, having traveled quite a bit, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater are among the Wonders of the World. This is world class animal habitat and is more spectacular in many ways than the Galapagos. When I think of all the families that travel to places like Disney World year after year, it seems like such a waste. If they saved up for a year or two they could visit Tanzania and have a genuine, rock-your-world, experience of a lifetime. I can’t think of a more interesting, or more valuable and educational place to visit and take your kids.

This was an excellent experience for all involved. I would definitely recommend Thomson, and would use Thomson again for any project in Tanzania.

We just can’t say enough good things about Thomson’s support and organizational skills on the trek.  Our guides, Sunday, Prosper, Simon and Calvin, were the main reason for our success but the porters and cook/waiters who made sure we had the food/energy etc. to get through each day were of critical importance.

Many, many other trekkers around us did not reach the top and I attribute the difference to Thomson’s staff.  We liked the service from office to field.  It was timely, open & honest.

After the trek, I saw a book in the gift shop called something like Hiking Kilimanjaro at 70.  Of course, I was 67 during the trek and turned 68 a few days later, but I said I didn’t need to buy that book.  All you have to do to reach the Uhuru Peak is go with Thomson!

I recently returned from my climb of Mt Kilimanjaro with Thomson Safaris and it was AWESOME. It was just what I wanted: an adventure of a lifetime. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole crew of Thomson for a wonderful experience.

The entire staff was wonderful, the following three men stand out in my mind as exceptional:
One of the associate guides, Polite, was particularly wonderful. He was diligent regarding our welfare, tactful and always helpful. He had humor, skill and strength. While these are all qualities possessed by all the associate guides I met he, nevertheless, stood out from the others.

My porter, Godfrey, was warm, friendly and very helpful. When I was slow returning to camp he came out and carried my back pack for me. Everything was always set up for me just as I wanted it.

Finally our medical porter, Aaron, (carried oxygen and medical supplies) simply rose above his duties taking on the chores and helpfulness of an associate guide when appropriate. He was awesome.

The entire trip was one big highlight film; it was an amazing adventure that I will never forget.

I felt we were in good hands from a health perspective. Every night our guides would check our oxygen level and heart rate, and were always making sure we were feeling OK. It was reassuring to know they were concerned about our health and not afraid to turn us back if necessary. I saw some people from other groups being carried down the mountain in very rough shape, I can only guess it was from altitude sickness and ascending too fast – something our guides would not allow to happen.

The porters should also be recognized for their tremendous effort. They all worked very hard to make sure we were comfortable, and they always had smiles on their faces. I feel like I made a lot of new friends on this trip. I also could tell that Thomson took care of them; from what I could see they were better equipped than porters from other organizations. I was glad I chose Thomson when I saw that.

I have to tell you the spaghetti at 15,000 feet was the best spaghetti I ever had in my life. I think I ate three plates. Seriously, the food was fantastic throughout the entire trek.

Overall it was a tremendous experience and I’m glad I chose Thomson Safaris. The trip was well-organized and  the Tanzanian guides and porters and cooks and waiters were all fantastic!

We all agreed that we paid for first-class service and we received first-class service.  I would go with Thomson Safaris again to anywhere.  Your crew did an outstanding job. We could just marvel how they managed to keep up their happy spirits despite the heavy work.  Also the food and service was amazing under such harsh conditions.

It was reassuring to see that safety was always at the forefront.  Also Thomson’s concern about the welfare of the porters made a big difference in choosing this company.

Our tents, camp, food and staff appeared to be far superior to the other mountain trekkers’ which we encountered on the way.  Our guides were the best.  We always felt well-informed about the upcoming day and when needed they were willing to give up their own comfort just to make sure we are all well taken care of.  This is beyond the call of duty.

It was a trip of a lifetime, and I can’t tell you how frequently my mind goes back to those days on the mountain. The people we were with, our guides, our porters, and all the work done behind the scenes made this the best vacation I’ve ever been on.  Additionally, I went with my step-father, and the bond I built with him during the hike is priceless.  The same goes for the other six climbers with us… all of us are still in touch, sharing photos, laughing over memories, etc.

The best parts of the trip: Our guides, Kapange and Earnest, were AMAZING. Earnest’s positive spirit was too dear, and I felt that he was always looking over us.  Kapange was an outstanding head guide, and I felt totally safe and happy with him at the head.  My porter, Nico, is the reason I made it to the top.

The lodging was AMAZING, especially Gibbs Farm and the Arusha Coffee Lodge.  I wish I could go back to either spot right now!  They were totally appreciated after days on the mountain.

I would recommend Thomson to anyone, and I’m proud to be associated with the group.

Fit For Trips definitely worked for me. I really appreciated being able to touch base regularly with the staff. They helped me immensely. I have NEVER been in such good shape in my life. In fact, people have asked me how I did it!

I climbed the Western Approach Route and experienced no aches, pains or any other physical ailments on the trip. No doubt this was because I was completely physically prepared. I will definitely use Fit For Trips another time. And hopefully soon, as I am now addicted to adventure!

We had an outstanding hike up Kilimanjaro.  All of our guides were outstanding.  The food was excellent.  The planning and services were also far above most of what we had seen on the mountain and otherwise.

Julie and I both reached the summit which gave us an amazing feeling. Needless to say, we both felt that the highlight of the entire trip was getting to know the people with whom we crossed paths including our porters, the guides, our fellow trekkers and the residents of Tanzania.  It made an enormous impression on us.  Learning about the Maasai tribe way of life was a true eye-opener.  We will definitely never forget this experience!

Fit For Trips is excellent. I followed the 3 month program scrupulously and am in the best shape I have been since I was in high school. It gave me the confidence so I was certain that if I was not affected by the altitude, there was no question that I would reach the summit. The altitude was not a problem and I reached the summit easily.

I am still so amazed and excited about the trip. I have traveled to 6 continents and this is one of the highlights of my life. I couldn’t have imagined a better experience.

All of the guides were great — leading at a pole, pole pace; giving a helping hand when needed; and ensuring we were eating and drinking enough.  Part way up the mountain I realized, as a single traveler, how lucky I was.

We all felt that Thomson was THE top rate group.

Thomson should feel very proud of what they do as an organization to makes these trips so memorable. When I started out on this plan I thought it was a lot of money for what we were doing but I assumed Thomson would be one of the better companies to do business with. As it turned out it was incredible value for the money and everywhere we went Thomson was constantly recognized as the best which made all of us very happy we were with Thomson.

The Safari portion was a completely different experience but the way we were treated no different. Makinda, our head guide for this portion had an attachment for the land, his country and the animals he showed us in Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. We were so well looked after and so educated about what we had seen that it will be a life experience for all of us. If I had to do it over again would I change anything? No.
