Summit on the Summit Success!

Thomson Safaris was proud to be the official outfitter of the trekking group, Summit on the Summit. We successfully lead activists and celebrities such as Kenna, Jessica Biel, Emile Hirsch and Alexandra Cousteau, amongst others, to Kilimanjaro’s summit to raise awareness and funds for clean water initiatives in developing countries, including Tanzania. Donations from their efforts go to providing clean drinking water through The Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program, United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), and Water For People’s Playpump Technology.

Katie, our Kilimanjaro coordinator, trekked along with this group. We’re happy to report that she made it to the summit too!
