I went through my university and a group called Study Abroad to Africa. But here's a link to the Cheetah Conservation Fund website. They have lots of information for volunteering: http://www.cheetah.org/?nd=volunteering_in_namibia

That video is great! I just checked out Sadie's pictures on the flickr link above. I'm a cat person and would love to volunteer to help cheetahs. how did she sign up to do this?

Our intern, Sadie, had an amazing experience working at the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) in Namibia last summer. Check out her photos where she assists in GPS collaring and releasing cheetahs back into the wild:

Sadie commented about her trip, "When I first stepped on the plane I knew this trip would change my life and it has! My commitment to cultural and wildlife conservation has never been stronger. With my degree in tourism, I hope to assist in creating sustainable initiatives in developing countries. While in Namibia, I was at the forefront of this new and exciting idea of turning poachers into conservationists. And working with the cheetahs? Well, that was just awesome!"
