Tanzania is the Best Country in Africa!

Last week, Judi attended the annual Educational Travel Conference (ETC) where she was chairing the Responsible Tourism Committee. She was excited to tell us about meeting one of our heroes, author Peter Matthiessen.

Matthiessen is a two-time National Book Award-winning novelist, explorer and environmental activist who has written some of our favorite books: The Tree Where Man Was Born, The Snow Leopard and Sand Rivers. Matthiessen has traveled extensively to some of the most remote places on earth, and he told Judi, “Tanzania is the best country in Africa.”  Thanks, Peter – we couldn’t agree more!
