Gibb's Farm, near the Ngorongoro Crater, is a great place to see weaver birds construct and utilize their nests. The rustic luxury of this lodge just scored high marks on the Condé Nast Traveler 2013 Gold List. It's no surprise to us, Gibb's Farm has ranked high on our list for years! http://www.facebook.com/thomsonsafaris/posts/241305729335425?comment_id=1078279

I’ve become very interested in bird behavior ever since that recent internet phenomenon about a female owl named “Molly the Barn Owl.” She has nested in a birdhouse in someone’s backyard – they decided to put a webcam in the birdhouse to teach their kids about owls. The webcam has documented Molly tending to her eggs and chicks over the past couple of months. I’ve seen 3 chicks being hatched already. It’s fascinating!
