I had no idea of what to expect but am 100% happy with what I got out of it. A once in a lifetime experience for me and my large family. I speak as a person who has traveled extensively in Africa, Latin America, Asia, Central Asia, Europe – mostly in context of public health work.
Great chefs! Kitchen visits showed us how wonderful food can be prepared with such basic equipment and supplies (the complete opposite to US kitchens). Especially enjoyed great soups and creative vegetable preparation.
